The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of Depo-Provera in women with severe and persistent depression, and to compare it with that of the placebo group.
Objectives: To compare Depo-Provera with the combined use of Depo-Provera and the Depo-SubQ Provera (Doxyprogestas).
Methods: We conducted a retrospective review of the medical records of 930 consecutive patients who had been treated with Depo-Provera for depression at a tertiary hospital with a diagnosis of major depression and were taking Depo-Provera, Provera or Provera-SubQ Provera. The patients were evaluated at the first visit, month 3 to month 6. The women were evaluated for their use of Depo-Provera, Provera or Provera-SubQ Provera. The women were also evaluated for their use of Depo-Provera and Depo-SubQ Provera in the first month of the study.
Results: The median number of women evaluated for use of Depo-Provera and Depo-SubQ Provera was 2.5 (range: 1.0 to 5.4) and 2.1 (range: 0.6 to 5.6), respectively. The mean age of the study population was 39.0 (range: 18.0–85.9) years. The mean number of women evaluated for use of Depo-Provera and Depo-SubQ Provera was 2.1 (range: 0.6 to 5.6) and 2.0 (range: 0.6 to 5.6), respectively.
Conclusions: This study suggests that the use of Depo-Provera and Depo-SubQ Provera is more effective than the combined use of Depo-Provera and Depo-SubQ Provera. However, the mean number of women evaluated for use of Depo-Provera and Depo-SubQ Provera was 2.5 and 2.1, respectively, in comparison to the number of women evaluated for use of Depo-Provera and Depo-SubQ Provera in the first month of the study. The most common side effects of Depo-Provera are sexual dysfunction, headache, breast tenderness, vaginitis and abnormal bleeding.

The only thing I want to talk about is how long the pill will take, and how it works to be effective.
First, let me tell you about Depo-Provera, which is used to make birth control pills. It’s a synthetic form of the hormone progestin, which is naturally produced by our ovaries. In women with ovaries that have a uterus, they can make it so they don’t have to worry about ovulation.
The pill is injected slowly every 12 hours, giving the hormones the kind of release that’s called “estrogen-like.”
Depo-Provera works in a very similar way to birth control pills, in that it releases estrogen to regulate your menstrual cycle. If you start it early, you don’t have to worry about ovulation, but if you stop it early, you’re releasing an endometrial lining that doesn’t have estrogen.
There’s a lot of talk about the benefits of using the pill in women who have had irregular periods and those who have a history of having polycystic ovaries. It’s just not right for every woman.
That’s why I wanted to know if it would be possible for a woman to be protected from the side effects of the birth control pill. It’s called the hormone progestin, and it works by releasing an endometrial lining. It also does so at a very high level. It can be a very powerful hormone.
One of the things that’s important to know is that there’s no evidence that progestin can cause birth control pills to work better for women with a uterus than there is for women who don’t have a uterus.
When you talk to your doctor about what you’re going to need, and your options, they’re going to say you want to have a uterus or a uterus with a very healthy partner. They’ll tell you if there’s a chance that you might be a candidate.
